With the development of technology and computer, several discharge measuring devices based on Doppler technology has been available on the market. The HidroSedimentos is a free software that was developed in order to facilitate the reading of measurement data with ADCP equipment for suspended sediment sampling time calculations. This article presents the main changes in the program in version 3.1, which has been issued by the National Water Agency (ANA) for use by the operators of the National Hydrometric Network. In this version, there are various options for data entry allowing the import of data from a series of measuring equipment used in Brazil and the use of all samplers used in Brazil and the ones indicated by FISP. Were included new calculation routines allowing the evaluation and management of sampling quality and also the development of standardized reporting in accordance with the recommendations of the ANA. The amendments in this version, in addition to expanding the forms of import and data entry and covering larger number of samplers, presents changes that facilitate use by users with lower affinity with the computer and allow improvement in the quality of suspension sediment samples. |
